I am a proud grandmother of 2: one very bright and wonderful granddaughter of 7 years old, and one adorable 2 year old grandson who is a special needs child. He was born with a rare chromosome disorder. They both bring a great amount of joy to my life. They really inspire me. I received the nickname,"Gammy" from my granddaughter when she was too young to pronounce Grandma and it has stuck ever since then. I was born and raised in California, until I moved to the Coeur d'Alene, ID area in 1985. I then moved to Spokane, WA 16 years ago and call it home, especially since my daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren live here. At the moment, I am a full-time college student studying Special Education/Early Childhood Development. I am very excited about this major, and plan on working with special needs children after I graduate in a year. I love surfing the Internet, and writing. At this time in my life, I am working on writing some children's fictional literature that will raise the awareness and acceptance of disabled children.
Who is that adorable little boy???? Oh he must be your little man. How cute!
